Goa, May 31 -- Dissatisfaction within the Goa Congress has intensified following the removal of Amit Patkar as Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president. In South Goa, party workers, block presidents, ZP members and other leaders met MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, questioning the high command's decision and expressing concern over the party's direction.

Some leaders reportedly urged Fernandes to consider resigning from the Lok Sabha in response to the developments. Workers also raised concerns over key state issues and demanded greater transparency from the party leadership.
