Goa, June 13 -- The District Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), North Goa, has urged Porvorim Police to register an FIR following the alleged killing of a pet cat in Zoswaddo, Socorro. According to a complaint referred to by the animal welfare body, the incident occurred on June 12 at around 10:40 am.The complaint alleges that a neighbour intentionally struck the domesticated cat with a wooden stick, resulting in the animal's death.
