Goa, April 15 -- In a joint operation by the Goa Police and the Delhi Police Crime Branch, six individuals have been arrested in connection with the Dona Paula and Mapusa dacoity cases.

The accused have been identified as Suman Hauldhar, also known as Pannu, Saifful Islam, Sohail Sheikh, Md. Nasir, Noor Islam alias Nadim Khan, and Zakir. Authorities confirmed that the arrests were made following coordinated efforts between the two police units.

Officials stated that the accused will be brought to Goa on a transfer warrant for further investigation. The case is linked to recent dacoities reported in Dona Paula and Mapusa, which had raised concerns among residents.
