Goa, July 20 -- Preparations for the Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah (Bazarkar) commenced on Monday with a prayer ceremony at the Shri Damodar Temple, marking the formal beginning of the annual festival.

Festival Committee President Bharat Kolgaonkar, along with Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, placed the receipt book at the holy feet of Lord Shri Damodar, seeking divine blessings for the successful conduct of the Saptah. Committee members were also present during the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sankalp Amonkar expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the prayers and wished everyone good health and the successful organisation of the festival.
