Goa, Oct. 27 -- Indian batter Shreyas Iyer has been moved out of the ICU at a Sydney hospital after sustaining a spleen laceration during the third ODI against Australia. The BCCI confirmed that his condition is stable and showing steady improvement.

The 30-year-old Mumbai cricketer suffered the injury on October 25 at the Sydney Cricket Ground while diving full stretch to take a brilliant catch that dismissed Alex Carey. Moments after the catch, Iyer was seen in severe pain and was taken off the field before being rushed to the hospital for scans.
