Goa, Aug. 28 -- New government data reveals that Indian nationals have recorded the steepest increase in convictions for sexual offences among foreign nationals in the United Kingdom over the past four years. Analysis by the anti-immigration think tank, Centre for Migration Control (CMC), shows convictions rose from 28 cases in 2021 to 100 in 2024-a staggering 257% increase.

Overall, convictions of foreign nationals for sexual offences rose by 62% during the same period, climbing from 687 to 1,114 cases. "The British convictions rate for these crimes increased by 39.31% between 2021 and 2024," the CMC noted.
