Goa, Nov. 6 -- A second killing of a kabaddi player in Punjab this week has reignited fears of gang violence in the region after the brutal slaying of Gurwinder (Gurinder) Singh in the Samrala block of Ludhiana district. A social-media post from an account using the name of Anmol Bishnoi - brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi - claimed responsibility and named alleged shooters, while also issuing a fresh threat to the gang's rivals.

According to local reports, the attack took place on Monday night in Manki village near Samrala, where four masked assailants on two motorcycles opened fire.
