Goa, July 31 -- A second crocodile was captured by the Forest Department on Friday after it was caught in a trap set up at Valshi in Bicholim, providing some relief to residents who have been living in fear due to increased crocodile sightings in the area.

The recent rise in crocodile activity has sparked concern among locals, particularly children who play near the village pond and women who visit the waterbody to wash clothes. Residents say the frequent sightings have made daily activities risky and created an atmosphere of anxiety.
