Goa, Oct. 27 -- The Supreme Court has directed the Chief Secretaries of all States and Union Territories to appear in person on November 3 for failing to submit affidavits detailing measures taken to address the stray dog menace.
During the hearing, the apex court noted that only Delhi (Municipal Corporations), West Bengal, and Telangana had complied with its earlier order to file status reports. The remaining states and UTs have been asked to explain their non-compliance when they appear before the bench at 10:30 am.
