Goa, May 5 -- Congress leader Girish Chodankar on Monday said that the Supreme Court has listed his petition challenging the alleged defection of eight Goa MLAs for final arguments on a non-miscellaneous day. He added that he was represented by a legal team led by senior advocate Dr Abhishek Singhvi during the proceedings.Chodankar also alleged that the Goa Assembly Speaker has failed to file a response despite the court issuing a notice in March 2025, terming it a deliberate delay in the matter.
