Goa, Oct. 1 -- Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaonkar has officially taken charge as the Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly. Gaonkar was elected to the position on September 25, succeeding his predecessor and marking a new chapter in the state legislature.
