Goa, Nov. 7 -- Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar has been sworn in as a Minister in the Dr Pramod Sawant-led Goa Cabinet, filling the vacancy left following the demise of former minister Ravi Naik.

Amonkar's induction expands the state Cabinet and fills the ministerial position that had remained vacant since Naik's passing.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is expected to allocate portfolios to the newly inducted minister later.
