Goa, Jan. 3 -- Mormugao MLA Shri Sankalp Amonkar has kicked off work to replace an ageing sewer line and chambers under SIDCGL near the El-Monte Theatre at Desterro. The project is aimed at upgrading the existing infrastructure and addressing long-pending sewerage issues in the locality.

Speaking to the media, Amonkar said that after assuming charge as Chairman of the Sewerage Department, his focus has been on ensuring maximum benefits for residents of the Mormugao constituency. He assured that all pending sewerage-related works would be taken up on priority.
