Goa, July 26 -- A 23-year-old contract labourer tragically lost his life due to electrocution while erecting an electricity pole in Xelpem. In response to the fatal incident, Sanguem MLA Subhash Phal Desai has ordered a comprehensive police probe and a formal departmental inquiry. Authorities have been directed to investigate the incident thoroughly, with assurances that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found responsible for the safety lapses and negligence leading to the worker's death.
