Goa, Oct. 5 -- The newly installed lift at the Sanguem Mamlatdar's office, which was completed after years of delay, is reportedly still not available for public use, leaving visitors-particularly senior citizens-to continue climbing the stairs.

The issue has been highlighted in three separate reports by Herald, with each report drawing attention to a different stage of the delay.

The first report questioned why work on the lift had not commenced, following which the lift material was brought to the site. A subsequent report raised questions over the delay in installation, after which the installation work began.
