Goa, Aug. 25 -- A serious accident occurred at Sangolda when a four-wheeler driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an electricity pole, authorities reported. The collision was so severe that the pole snapped and fell directly onto the roof of the car, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said the vehicle appeared to be moving at high speed before the driver lost control.
