MAPUSA: Saligao United SC managed to walk past Candolim SC by 1-0 win in the 1st Siolim Villagers Cup organised by FC Siolim at Siolim ground, on Sunday.

Both the teams played almost on equal footing in the first session and went into the breather locked in a goalless draw.

On crossing ends, Saligao United did have better of the ball possession and attacks at the rival goal, but finally in the 70th minute Soham Sheticar managed to score, 1-0.
