Goa, April 11 -- A man who allegedly set himself on fire in Saligao on April 10 has succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital.

Sources said the victim had sustained severe burn injuries in the incident and was admitted for treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later passed away at the hospital.

Authorities are expected to continue their investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
