Rs.7.36 Cr Investment Scam Busted in Goa; Multiple Accused Booked
Goa, April 22 -- Goa police have busted a massive Rs.7.36 crore investment scam that allegedly defrauded several residents through fake cryptocurrency and online‑trading schemes. The Economic Offences Cell has registered a case based on a complaint by a resident of Bicholim, who, along with victims from Margao, Vasco, Verna, Ponda and Navelim, lost substantial sums after being lured by high‑return promises from entities such as Botbro, QFX Trade Ltd, Yorker Capital Markets, Botalpha, Crossmarkets and Minecryptos.
