Goa, May 9 -- A routine fuel stop turned violent at a petrol pump in Caranzalem after a dispute over a Rs.615 petrol bill allegedly escalated into an assault on staff members.

According to outlet operator Gaurish Dhond, a group of bikers wearing black arrived at the pump and asked for a full tank refill. The fuel dispensing stopped at Rs.615, after which one of the riders reportedly refused to accept the amount, claiming that such a quantity of petrol could not have been filled into his bike.

The disagreement quickly intensified, and the customer and his group allegedly attacked the petrol pump attendant. When the supervisor stepped in to defuse the situation, he too was allegedly pushed and assaulted.
