Goa, Aug. 27 -- Early ticket sales for India's upcoming 12-match tour of New Zealand have broken records, with 26,000 tickets purchased in the first 48 hours of the host board's pre-sale. The pre-sale, exclusive to New Zealand Cricket's Cricket Nation members, went live on Monday and quickly generated widespread fan interest across key host cities.

White-ball fixtures scheduled for Auckland's Eden Park are currently leading total sales volume. High demand has also been registered in Christchurch and Wellington. Hagley Oval in Christchurch, which holds a capacity of 9,000 spectators, is already tracking toward complete sell-outs for the opening two T20 Internationals on October 22 and 24, as well as the second Test set for late November....
