Railway Police Arrest Four in Train Theft Crackdown, Recover 60 Stolen Mobile Phones
Goa, July 11 -- In a major crackdown on thefts targeting train passengers, the Railway Police have arrested four persons for allegedly stealing mobile phones during train journeys and recovered 60 stolen handsets.
According to police, the accused were involved in stealing mobile phones from unsuspecting passengers travelling on trains. The recovered devices are now being verified, and efforts are underway to trace their rightful owners.
Investigators are also examining whether the four accused are linked to similar cases of theft and mobile phone snatching reported at other railway stations and along various train routes.
