India, Feb. 13 -- Public Works Department Goa (PWD) has notified the temporary closure of the left-hand side (LHS) of the Chimbel Flyover from February 13, 2026, to March 5, 2026, to facilitate maintenance and allied works.

As per the traffic advisory, vehicles travelling from Merces Circle towards Ponda, and traffic moving in the opposite direction, will be diverted to the right-hand side (RHS) of the Chimbel Flyover during the closure period.

The PWD has urged motorists to follow traffic signage and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth movement and avoid congestion. Road users have also been advised to plan their travel in advance and exercise caution while passing through the affected stretch.
