Goa, Oct. 24 -- Veteran Goan actor Prashanti Talpankar has won the Best Actor award in the International category at the 14th International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA) in Toronto. She was recognised for her remarkable performance in the 30-minute Konkani short film Ancessao, directed by Manguirish Bandodkar. Talpankar's portrayal has been widely praised for its emotional depth and authenticity, bringing Goan cinema into the global spotlight.
