Goa, Sept. 15 -- The Goa Police Crime Branch has arrested two more accused in connection with the Porvorim shooting case, taking the total number of arrests in the case to six.

The latest arrests were made in Chennai by a team of the Goa Police Crime Branch. The two accused were apprehended within the jurisdiction of Light House Police Station in Chennai and have been identified as Arputharaj alias Anna, 49, and Pavan Saur, 19.

According to police, Arputharaj, a resident of the area near Digha Railway Station in Mumbai, is the alleged second shooter in the case, besides Babu Ali, who was arrested two days ago near the Nepal border. Police said Pavan Saur was also actively involved in the alleged conspiracy.
