Goa, Aug. 25 -- Chief Minister announced that the Porvorim road will remain open for traffic until the fifth day of Ganesh Chaturthi, after which a detailed traffic management plan will be worked out before shutting the stretch for ongoing works. He assured that all potholes along the Porvorim highway, as well as other parts of Goa, will be repaired prior to the closure.

The decision comes as a relief to commuters and devotees during the festive period, ensuring smoother travel. Authorities will coordinate with traffic police and contractors to implement the closure plan in a phased and organized manner after the festival.
