Porvorim, Sept. 2 -- Two police personnel have been accused of allegedly abusing and threatening staff at a restaurant in Porvorim following a dispute over a food bill.

The restaurant owner has alleged misconduct by the personnel and claimed that one of them objected to the Rs.170 price of a naan, considering it excessively high.

The incident reportedly came to light after CCTV footage showed the personnel allegedly confronting restaurant staff.

An inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Further action will depend on the findings of the inquiry.
