Goa, June 23 -- Porvorim Police have begun using newly allotted motorcycles and scooters for patrolling across their jurisdiction, aiming to enhance mobility and improve law enforcement presence in the area.

The two-wheelers were handed over to the Goa Police by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on June 18, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen policing infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Following the handover, personnel from Porvorim Police Station were seen conducting patrols in various parts of the jurisdiction under the supervision of the Police Inspector of Porvorim Police Station.
