Porvorim Flyover Opens to Traffic After Two-Hour Delay
Goa, Sept. 11 -- Traffic was opened on the newly constructed Porvorim elevated flyover at around 6.30 pm on Thursday, with PWD Minister Digambar Kamat flagging off the first vehicles. The flyover was originally scheduled to open at 4 pm, but the inauguration was delayed by more than two hours. With vehicles now allowed on the elevated corridor, motorists using the busy Porvorim stretch are expected to get relief from congestion on the road below. The opening marks the start of traffic movement on the new flyover, aimed at easing pressure along the route.
