Goa, July 2 -- Farmers in Succor, Porvorim, have expressed concern over a government-constructed pathway that they claim has divided agricultural fields and disrupted the area's natural drainage system. According to locals, the altered water flow has led to water accumulation, raising fears of damage to standing crops and cultivable land. Sanjay Barde, president of the Shree Bodgeshwar Shetkari Sangh in Mapusa, has highlighted the issue and questioned whether the project has caused avoidable harm to farmland.
