Goa, June 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the 'Guardian of the Blue Horizon', Seychelles' highest presidential honour for leadership in environmental conservation and sustainable development, during his three-day visit to the island nation.

Accepting the award, Modi dedicated it to all countries working together to combat climate change and safeguard the environment for future generations. He highlighted India's commitment to sustainability through initiatives such as Mission LiFE, the International Solar Alliance and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure.
