Goa, June 21 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi delayed his departure from Delhi Airport on Sunday to ensure that students travelling for the NEET-UG re-examination did not face any inconvenience. According to officials, the Prime Minister arrived at the airport at approximately 1:15 pm but chose to remain there until the examination commenced at 2 pm.

The decision was taken to avoid traffic disruptions during a crucial period when thousands of candidates were on their way to examination centres across the national capital. Movement of the Prime Minister's convoy generally requires traffic management measures and temporary restrictions along designated routes.
