Goa, Oct. 22 -- The principal of a school in Pernem has refuted media reports claiming that six teachers from the institution were booked for assault, clarifying that no such incident had taken place.

The principal stated that no First Information Report (FIR) had been filed and no offence had been registered against any faculty member in connection with the alleged incident.

The clarification comes amid reports circulating about the alleged involvement of six teachers in an assault case.
