Goa, April 20 -- A tragic incident has been reported from Parra, where a 27-year-old man lost his life after suffering an electric shock while attempting to check an MCB during a power outage.

The deceased has been identified as Sachin Rajput. According to sources, he came into contact with an electric current while inspecting the circuit breaker, leading to severe injuries.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident has cast a shadow of grief in the locality, while also raising concerns about electrical safety during power disruptions. Authorities are expected to look into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
