The incident occurred when the minor reportedly jumped off the Mandovi Bridge, prompting immediate action from the coastal security personnel stationed nearby.
Eyewitnesses alerted the authorities as soon as they saw the girl plunge into the river. The rescue team responded within minutes, deploying their boat and reaching the spot where the girl was struggling in the water.
