RAIA, June 26 -- Paldem Sports Club scored a solitary goal victory over Fondegal Youth Club to enter into the quarter-finals of 2nd Caniza Peixoto memorial 9-a-side football tournament organised by Black Arrow Boys Agxem SC at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Thursday.

In the 10th minute ,Paldem SC's Finley Carvalho scored giving no chance to Fondegal YC goalkeeper.

At lemon break, Paldem SC were leading 1-0.

In the second session, Fondegal YC created many chances through Melwin, Presely Mascarenhas and Reuben Fernandes in the 35th, 45th and 58th minute but couldn't find the equaliser as Paldem SC defence of Diago, Ansley and Peter remained firm till the end.
