Goa, Oct. 6 -- The Pedne Shetkari Cooperative Society inaugurated the paddy harvesting and threshing operations at Mandre Sawant Wada, marking an important step in the local agricultural season.
The event was attended by prominent guests, including Morarji District Panchayat Member Satish Shedgaonkar, Mandre Sarpanch Robert Fernandes, Director and former Sarpanch Advocate Amit Sawant, and Chairman of the Society, Professor Vithoba Bagli.
Officials and society members highlighted the significance of organized harvesting and threshing in improving yield efficiency and supporting local farmers' livelihoods.
