Goa, Oct. 28 -- Cyclone Montha continues to strengthen over the Bay of Bengal, bringing heavy rainfall, strong winds, and high tides to Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Expected to make landfall near Kakinada on Tuesday night, the storm could see wind speeds of 100-110 kmph. IMD has warned of 4.7-metre-high waves along the Andhra coast. Meanwhile, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi said over 2,000 relief centres have been set up in eight southern districts. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reviewed railway preparedness as authorities brace for the cyclone's impact.
