Mopa, June 18 -- Oman Air has ceased its operations at Manohar International Airport (Mopa), bringing an end to the direct air connectivity between Goa and Muscat.

With the suspension of the airline's services from Mopa, passengers travelling between Goa and the Omani capital will now have to rely on connecting flights through other cities instead of enjoying a non-stop journey.

The discontinuation of the route is expected to impact both leisure and business travellers, as well as the sizeable expatriate community that frequently commutes between Goa and Oman.
