No water for Pakistan in future, says Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil
Goa, June 9 -- Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil on Tuesday said the Narendra Modi-led government is working towards ensuring that Pakistan does not receive water from the Indus river system in the coming years. He clarified that the Indus Waters Treaty has not been terminated but has been kept in abeyance following India's decision after the Pahalgam terror attack.Patil said the Centre was making every effort to stop water from flowing across the border.
