Nilesh Rane Alleges Duplicate Liquor Network Operating Through Goa
Goa, May 30 -- Kudal MLA Nilesh Narayan Rane has alleged that spirit used in the production of duplicate alcohol is being transported freely across the Maharashtra-Goa border. Addressing a press conference, Rane claimed that the spirit is moved in broad daylight through fuel and milk tankers before being brought into Goa. According to him, the spirit is then used to manufacture duplicate liquor in the state, which is later transported back to Maharashtra for sale. Rane expressed concern over the impact of such illegal liquor on the younger generation and urged authorities to take strict action against those involved in the transportation, production, and distribution of duplicate alcohol.
