Goa, June 19 -- The residential quarters belonging to the Irrigation Department at Dhargal have reportedly fallen into a state of severe neglect, with the abandoned structures deteriorating to such an extent that locals have likened them to a haunted house.

Residents have voiced concern over the condition of the government-owned property, pointing out that the unused buildings have been left unattended for years and now pose an eyesore in the area.

The deteriorating state of the quarters has prompted demands for immediate intervention by the authorities. Locals are urging the government to either restore the buildings or redevelop the site for a more meaningful public purpose.
