Goa, Oct. 3 -- In a major development in the Mungul brutal assault case, accused Amogh Naik, Valley D'Costa, and Prakash Karbar, who were wanted by police, have surrendered before the South Goa Superintendent of Police.
The three accused arrived accompanied by their lawyers and presented themselves to the authorities. Police officials confirmed their surrender and stated that further investigation and legal procedures will follow.
The case, which sparked widespread concern in the region, is now expected to move forward with the custody and questioning of the accused.
