Goa, Aug. 13 -- The launch of the Mobile Passport Seva Van at the Vasco Municipality Office marks a major step toward bringing essential government services closer to residents. Inaugurated today by NRI Commissioner Narendra K. Sawaikar, the initiative aims to reduce hurdles faced by citizens, particularly the elderly, when applying for or renewing passports.

Previously, residents of South Goa had to travel to the main passport office in Panjim-a journey often complicated by long queues, travel time, and logistical challenges, especially for senior citizens and people with mobility issues. The introduction of the Mobile Passport Seva Van now allows citizens to access these crucial services locally, offering convenience and efficiency.
