Goa, Nov. 4 -- MLA Pravin Arlekar has extended financial assistance to 35 youth groups from across Pernem taluka participating in Narkasur effigy-making and competitions organised as part of the Diwali festivities.

Representatives of the 35 youth groups from various villages in the taluka were present on the occasion.

Addressing the youngsters, Arlekar encouraged them to actively participate in cultural activities and assured them of his continued support.

"The youth are the future of India. It is not enough to merely claim to support them; one must stand firmly by their side and extend cooperation in every field. To earn the trust of young people, tangible and practical assistance must be provided," he said.
