Goa, Sept. 25 -- In a bold statement ahead of the upcoming Speaker election, MLA Altone D'Costa has expressed strong confidence in securing victory if the government permits ballot voting.

D'Costa claimed that he would secure at least 25 votes, including support from several ruling party MLAs, many of whom have reportedly assured him of their backing. He issued a direct challenge to the government to allow ballot voting, asserting that if such a voting method is conducted, he will emerge victorious in the Speaker election.
