India, March 28 -- Five Indian nationals were injured on Saturday after debris from an intercepted ballistic missile fell near Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.

Officials said the debris landed after air defence systems successfully intercepted the incoming missile, triggering fires in the surrounding area. Emergency response teams were immediately deployed to contain the situation and assess the damage.

According to the official report, all five injured individuals sustained minor to moderate injuries. Authorities confirmed that two fire incidents caused by the falling debris were promptly attended to, and the situation has since been brought under control.
