Benaulim, Oct. 23 -- Former Goa minister Francisco Xavier 'Mickky' Pacheco has announced that he will contest the 2027 Goa Assembly elections from the Benaulim constituency on a United Goans Democratic Party (UGDP) ticket.

Citing his three previous electoral victories from Benaulim, Pacheco said he intended to return to electoral politics to serve the people of the constituency.

He said his priorities would include improving local infrastructure and strengthening public representation to address the concerns and needs of residents.
