Goa, May 9 -- The Additional Sessions Court-I at Merces has granted bail to Siddique in a forgery case registered by the Valpoi Police in connection with alleged fake sale deeds of ancestral properties.

The case pertains to properties located at Goalim-Moula, where allegations of forged documents and fraudulent property transactions had been reported.

According to sources, the accused was booked by Valpoi Police following complaints related to the alleged preparation and use of fake sale deeds involving ancestral land.

The court granted bail after hearing submissions in the matter, while further investigation into the case is continuing.
