Goa, June 24 -- A major fire broke out at the Golden Royale Banquet Hall in West Delhi's Moti Nagar area on Monday evening, triggering a swift and large-scale response from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). Though the fire was brought under control within two hours, officials fear that one or two individuals may still be trapped inside the building.
The blaze reportedly started around 8:30 pm in the multi-storey banquet hall located on Najafgarh Road in the Industrial Area of Moti Nagar. The DFS received its first alert at 8:47 pm from concerned commuters who witnessed the flames engulfing the structure.
